It was at August Martin where Evon’s love of basketball flourished and her successful career in basketball was all made possible by her beloved high school coach Joel Ascher.

Evon credits her success in life to her mother, Ellen L. Asforis and father, Vincent M. Asforis.  Her parents taught Evon the value of hard work, dedication to the pursuit of her goals, integrity, and gratitude. Evon is forever grateful for her parents’ love and support, for her family, her coach and her many supportive friends and she is eternally grateful to God for blessing and keeping her.
